Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. It is believed that she was the one responsible as the pioneer of modern studies of eyewitnesses' memory, and the role of children in witnessing. Professor Goodman has published numerous papers as well as received numerous grants. She has also received several international and national awards. She has worked with various government agencies and governments across the globe on policy as well as research on children who are victims of the justice system. She serves as an expert consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of several professional associations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions of Experimental Psychology, Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family policy and practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and also the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
